Undergraduate Program Educational Objectives

Carrying out professional practices that aim at adequate and balanced nutrition of healthy and sick individuals using scientific data in line with national and international professional standards, and effectively contributing to clinical decision-making processes,

Graduate Programs
Master’s Program Educational Objectives
The aim of the Master’s Program in Nutrition and Dietetics, opened within the Graduate School of Health Sciences of Hasan Kalyoncu University, is to train expert dietitians who have mastery of the field, who can use scientific knowledge in the areas where dietetic practices are carried out, who can contribute to the production of scientific knowledge by conducting nutrition and diet research, and who possess the qualities of inquiring, questioning and universal scientists. Dietitians who complete this program can also serve as academics in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and may apply to the PhD programs in Nutrition and Dietetics that universities’ nutrition and dietetics departments need.
PhD Program Educational Objectives
The aim of the PhD program in Nutrition and Dietetics is to inform students at an advanced level in the fields of dietetics, mass nutrition systems, nutrition sciences and community nutrition, aiming at the lifelong protection, improvement and development of the health of society and the increase of quality of life; to convey current approaches in nutrition and dietetics; to enable students to conduct research and practice; and to give them an academic perspective.
